The Incredible Story of the Nuzum Family!

Scott and I had a son by birth that now is today a happily married successful twenty six year old man. When he was one and a half years old, I became pregnant with a second child. Unfortunately this child died before birth and I had complications delivering. The baby ended up having to be taken and I under went a hysterectomy at the age nineteen.

We decided when Dan, our biological son, was two years old we would like to adopt. After five years passed we were finally blessed with our first adopted daughter. Megan became the first of our future.

At the time of this adoption Dan was seven years old and Megan seven and a half months old. It was wonderful experience for all of us! She filled the house with joy and laughter. This marked the beginning…

This took place eighteen years ago and we have been adopting ever since. I think we are topping thirty. We enjoy taking in kids that doctor’s, and caseworkers say, “ This child won’t do very much or can’t do very much.” After working with any one of these children overtime, we have a lot of joy just watching each one of them finally walk, talk, or even just playing with a toy. Each one of these kids brings an abundance of love to our family. The bigger we grew the more love flows.
