Joanne & Scott Nuzum are the proud parents of 30 children. Of these 30 children 29 are adopted and only one is by birth. Scott and Joanne have been married for 27 years and have been adopting for over 18 years.

Twenty five of their children still live at home with them. Many of them have special needs and handicaps ranging from cerebral palsy, autism and blindness to seizures, emotional and eating disorders and various degrees of paralysis.

They have lived in their present 5,500 square foot home for 15 years and have added on to it 4 different times to make more room. They are now bursting at the seams and unable to add on any more, for they have used up most all their yard space. Can you believe they only have two bathrooms to share? Many of their children will always live with them. Many of them will need a total handicap accessible home. They are in need of more bathrooms and bedrooms.

The Nuzums have decided to build a new and bigger home. One that will put comfort to everyone. They have contracted to build an 80 x 200 steel building to make into our home, large enough for all the children and more, if need be, fully handicap accessible, with more bathrooms!!!!! (Have I mentioned more bathrooms????? )

The Nuzums feel that this is what God would have them do in their life and they do hope to adopt more children, but because this is such a big project, the loans and finances have run out. Therefore, they are asking you for help.

The house is under construction in Wood County on 11 acres. They were fortunate to get labor help through Habitat for Humanity during the months of October 2001- March 2002. Adopt America is allowing all donations for the home project to go through them to be tax deductible.

Please consider any kind of help - material, financial, labor, or prayer.

Blessings to you and thank you in advance
